MessageNet Systems Course Cancellation Policy

Cancellation or Rescheduling of a Course by MessageNet Systems

If MessageNet cancels or reschedules due to an act of God (natural disasters, fires, floods, tornadoes, severe weather, etc.) or other unforeseeable disturbances the student has the option to request that MessageNet either (a) refund 100% of the course fee or (b) reschedule to a future class of the student’s choosing. No compensation will be offered for incurred costs as a result of the rescheduling. The student must provide MessageNet with written notice of which option the student chooses within 30 days of the date MessageNet notifies the student the course has been cancelled or rescheduled. If the student fails to notify MessageNet within the time period MessageNet will provide a refund without consulting the student.

If the purpose for rescheduling or canceling is not due to any of the above (e.g. low enrollment), and the cancellation or rescheduling notice is provided less than fourteen (14) calendar days before class starts, the student has the option to request that MessageNet either (a) refund the student 100% of the price (minus any credit card convenience charges) paid to MessageNet for the student’s course fee or (b) reschedule to a future class of the student’s choosing. If the student elects to reschedule, MessageNet will refund the student up to $150 USD to compensate for the cost of any non-refundable travel change fees, if the student first provides an invoice or receipt from the travel service provider documenting such a charge that was incurred due to the rescheduling. No compensation will be issued if the student elects a refund instead of rescheduling. The student must provide MessageNet with written notice of which option the student chooses within thirty (30) days of the date MessageNet notifies the student the class have been cancelled or rescheduled. If the student fails to notify MessageNet within the time period MessageNet will provide a refund without consulting the student.

If MessageNet cancels a course due to low enrollment more than fourteen (14) days prior to the event the student will be notified and refunded 100% of the course enrollment cost.

If the minimum course size has not been met prior to the registration deadline the course will be cancelled. You will receive notification of cancellation fourteen (14) days prior to the course start date. Please wait to book any travel arrangements until you have received a course confirmation email with the course training packet from MessageNet Systems. MessageNet Systems is not responsible for any travel costs or fees incurred due to class cancellations.

Cancellation or Rescheduling by the Student

If a student cancels their enrollment less than fourteen (14) days before the class starts the student forfeits the entire purchase price and MessageNet will not provide any student refunds.

If a student cancels or reschedules their enrollment more than fourteen (14) days before the course start date MessageNet will refund the entire course fee minus any credit card convenience charges, if applicable.

If the student does not show up for class and no advanced notification has been received the student forfeits the entire purchase price and MessageNet is not obligated to provide the student any refunds or to reschedule the student to another course date.

Student Substitutions

A different individual may attend a scheduled course so long as MessageNet has been notified by email sent to [email protected] no less than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled course so that MessageNet may ensure, if food is provided, that any special dietary needs are met.
