Obsolete Features and Hardware

The following features and hardware can no longer be supported:

analog PRI and telephony cards – a SIP trunk or VoIP gateway is required for phone communication with the MessageNet server

H180F fire panel controller devices

H181F fire panel controller devices

telephone modems

H108/H170 RS232 controllers

PC Alert has limited support – due to operating system changes by Apple and Microsoft, PC Alert can no longer be counted on to pop up because the OS can suppress it and therefore cannot be used for emergency communication. Note that due to limitations introduced by Apple’s new OS, Catalina, 32-bit apps and programs like PC Alert are not compatible with Catalina.
